My week aboard the Mary Day is always my best week in the entire year, and this year's trip was the best ever. Thank You!

This was my 6th or 7th sailing on the Mary Day. What a great week! The Chef (Kathy) was wonderful. So accommodating and the food was wonderful. I always sleep so well on the Mary Day. The Captain always gave an informative, history filled explanation of all the islands we visited. I missed his acoustic skills at night (because I was sleeping so well) but I heard the accolades of his singing in the mornings. The crew were always cleaning and tending to the ship but still very friendly and helpful.

My 5th Maine 6-day windjammer cruise in 40 years and the 2nd windjammer cruise ion the Mary Day. Captain Barry King obviously thoroughly enjoys his role as our cruise director. His daily historic talks after breakfast before our daily shore leaves are very much appreciated. Plan to book a 6-day cruise with a lady friend next August as soon as possible. Dave Graham Smyrna. Captain Barry King is a superb host. He leads his crew by example, and strikes the right balance between high standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality with awareness that the trip is a vacation for most people on board. The food is tasty, nourishing, and generously served. (I brought home a couple extra pounds ... ). The crew are unfailingly polite, considerate, and generous to explain the ship and sailing, while carrying out their duties with dispatch and minimal fuss. You get to see a lot of the Maine coast, learn history (tip o' the cap to the Captain), geography, and digitally detox. Every day we had a wee bit of time on shore to get some steps in, and see more of the area. Highly recommended.

Had an excellent time. Joined by my niece and nephew Jennifer and Nelson and Jennifer's husband Rodney. Not my first rodeo, I've been sailibng on the Mary Day since 1988. Plan to be back again next year if not sooner.
